With his third place finish in the Jubilee Tower Race, Hoosier State Cycling's Van Landry pocketed the second Division 6 result of his career.
Landry attacked with Benjamin Meldgaard and Radek Nowak after 26km on the run up to the second climb of the day. The threesome worked together to stay away until Landry was dropped near the base of the final climb. Meldgaard held off Nowak at the top for his first win of the season.
"It feels good to get back on the podium," Landry commented. "Getting a result in a Division 6 race really boosts my confidence."
With Landry's points from this race, HSC moves into Division 5 for the first time in team history and will compete in
Witbank - Verena on Tuesday with the hope of earning enough points over the next three weeks to take part in the Fast on Wheels tour.
